I have checked the image of the GRO index on an alternative website and it is correct, so I suspect that it has simply been transcribed incorrectly onto GR's database.

Hi, My name is Neil James Sinclair, born Liverpool 1/6/1967. On your records my name is spelled Niel, this is wrong as you can check on your official records. Can you change it, please, thanks.
