You'd better tell them that you don't have a board name either, not even the default ‘Unknown’! !

The only way anyone can see who you are is to hover their cursor over your silhouette and pretend to send you a message. :-0

Thanks Thelma but the problem appears to be getting worse. Can't add anything. The 'add relative' is now freezing and going nowhere.

The Support Team are now looking into the problem.

I think I have sussed this.
Click on "ADD SPOUSE"
Now click "ADD NEW"
It seems to interfere with ADD CHILD and ADD SIBLING.

I have also tried to add a child via the 'add sibling' feature - and what do I get?

Add sibling

Enter the name of the person you are looking for in the search box.

You can also search by year of birth or death. You can add the details in any

order, but they must be separated by commas

e.g. Isambard, Kingdom, Brunel, 1806

This is now beginning to drive me crazy: I want to add a second child to a couple and I get:

Add child

Enter the name of the person you are looking for in the search box.

You can also search by year of birth or death. You can add the details in any

order, but they must be separated by commas

e.g. Isambard, Kingdom, Brunel, 1806

1 result is available, use up and down arrow keys to navigate.

I do not have the option of 'enter the name of the person you are looking for' box.
This box only appears in "Add Spouse" and you can opt for "Add New"

Actually, this problem arises in cases where I had a child entered and then deleted him/her. If I try to add a child to the parents concerned, it wants me to find the one I deleted (which, of course, I can't).

Sounds strange. My 'Add' box looks OK if I click on 'Child'. I get the option of 'Add New' or 'Find Existing' (and then 'enter the name of the person you are looking for') if I click on 'Spouse'.

I should report the problem by using the 'Send feedback' tab at the righ hand side of the Tree screen.

Have you tried re-loading your tree? Sometimes that helps.

When I use the 'add' box to add a child, I only get the 'enter the name of the person you are looking for' box. As I want to enter someone totally new, this is not the answer. What has gone wrong, and how do i solve it?
