Suggestions

Members including myself ask for info and make suggests to GR.
There is so much info on the site but it is all buried away under page layers making it not so obvious to find.

Would suggest a A-Z list of all links which will help members find the info they need.

This is best practise on so many sites.

Not sure what info your referring to NS but if I want info that can be found on the community boards I use the Advanced Search facility

There is a A -Z facility for records held by GR, Click on the sitemap at the bottom of the page to open that facility

have you never looked at the stickied threads at the top of several Boards ................... giving tips to urls of other sites, and where to find information??


All posted by extremely experienced members ......... many of whom have, or had, many more than 15 years of experience. Some of them had 50 years of experience in genealogical research, and are well respected members of GR.


The problem is that GR does not have a facility for organising a search of those threads into alphabetical order.



However, this thread is promoting the use of other sites, which you are always saying we should not do on GR :-S :-S
