- Thanks for pointing out the issues that arise with new members who sometimes mark the thread as answered even if it actually hasn't been. I will speak to the team about changing the wording.

It isn't only new members who don't use it in the intended way.

It is a real problem........and the site would be much better if the option was removed completely.

we have Newbies who thing they have done something wrong ..... when they cannot UNDO this option when ticked in error

Please apply some common sense here.

You won't remove the 'marked as answered'........but you've removed the option to UNDO the 'marked as answered'

That is about as stupid as it could possibly get......................!!!!!!

She does a regular report once a fortnioght on the stickied thread above.

The last entry is 19th July - less than two weeks ago, next one due in a couple of days.

She also posted yesterday on the Genealogical Chat board.
