Can anyone help me please.
I am trying to find ut if my grandmother had any children born between 1918 - 1921? or after 1923?

Her name was Annie Kilby (nee Fowkes) her husband died in 1914 and she had a son in 1917 - registered as Robert 'Kilby' (her married name).
Then in 1922 she had a daughter Irene - also registered as Kilby but she married Irenes father - Walter Mann in 1927 ( within 3 months of Walters 1st wife dying). Irenes birth was then
re-registered in 1932 - correctly - as Irene Mann.
However
Did Annie & Walter have any other children together?

They were both from ( and all the children were born ) in Leicester.

My grandparents built a house on a plot at 127 Colby Drive Thurmaston c1920. I would like to find out the history of the place, when built cost etc.
Can anyone plese advise me on how I can achive this?

Great news!

I have been trying for a while to find out about my great grandfather's half brother Arthur H Smith, grocer, of 2 Denmark Street. Today I have received an e mail through Genes from his great granddaughter after I followed up a hot match. At last one of the wretched things has come good for me.

Hi any Rodwell connections. Looking for Ann Arnold who married Thomas Smith of Knighton in June 1/4 1844, Blaby district (have sent for this cert) Their daughter Emma b. 1845 ?? married John Rodwell b 1834 - my line.

I think Ann had a daughter Ann before marrying Thomas, and then two sons, Isaac and Edward, as well as Emma, with Thomas.

I think Ann's father's name is Thomas, but not too sure about her mother. I think she is born in Billesdon district.

Can anyone help?

I'm looking for a John Sutton born c1786 in either Oakthorpe or Donisthorpe. He married Elizabeth Pegg in Burbage in 1804 but she died before 1841 so have no idea where she was born.

Do you have these records on disc please?
