Hi Mike,

Could you please look up the marriage of Charles Jacques c1819 Warwickshire and Martha Brown c1819 Hinkley who were married at Higham on the Hill on 20/4/1843. I would like to know names of both fathers and witnesses please.

I have found 9 children and have baptism details for the first 6 from familysearch but cannot find the other 3. They are George c1857, Susannah c1860 and Elizabeth c1861. All children showing as born Higham on the Hill on the census.

Thank you so much for all the help you are giving us on GR it really is appreciated.

Thanks very much, Mike. Which disc did you find that on? His name doesn't seem to be in any of the ones Father Christmas kindly sent me :-)

I don't have a disc for post-1837 marriages, though, which is what I normally use his site for.

Hi Mike,

........ On April 24, I put in a request, but it must have slipped thru the cracks, but would still appreciate any info...........

I would like some info on the following if possible...

William Henry Newby bc 1846, Leicester . I have him age 5, on the 1851 census with his grandparents John and Mary Newby at Blaby. John is a school master.
I see there is a entry on Ancesry births for a William Henry Newby b 1846, but would like to know his parents , if possible ...

Many tks for your time ......
Cheers.
