Another one ?? Will report to Natasha. Sent at 11:47

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/suggestions/thread/1324419?page=2

Disappointed to see that I have not had a reply from the Support Team.
The two threads I suggested to the Team might be trouble have been over the weekend.

Waste of time contacting the Team if they do absolutely nothing

this one has just been dealt with

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/general_chat/thread/1327272

So obviously the Team did not sort out all the posts sent for review

Part of the reply by Natasha earlier this morning
"I’ve checked with customer support and there are no outstanding request reviews"

I would like clarification from the Team on a question which will probably get ignored.

One member sends a lot of posts for review but they are put back on site do they get a warning for wasting the time of the Team ? If so how many warnings before the Team take any action?

One members posts a thread which cause a lot of upset to other members so how many times is a member allowed to do this before getting a warning. How many warnings before action is taken.

How long a ban does the Team hand out to members and does it depend on what the ban was for?

Because at the moment a small minority are ruling this site and the TEAM :-P

GR i have my Email and you are wrong their are still out standing reports

They still have not sorted out my thread yet, just one of many.

If GR look at all the reported threads as a whole they will see just what is happening, most reporting and indeed content in several threads are all linked and should be looked at in their entirety

GlitterBaby Report 1 Jul 2013 13:44

Come on GR get to grips with this problem or you will be losing a lot of long term and experienced helpers from this site.

The RR is still at it today.

So has any action actually been taken ? I doubt it and the Team will not say who anyway.

Porkie_Pie Report 1 Jul 2013 14:43

Thank you GR it took some time but at least it has now gone

Hi everyone,

Our system does tell us exactly how many posts a member reports so we do and we have given warnings to members who excessively request reviews posts that haven’t broken our guidelines. We will also temporarily ban members from the message boards if they break our guidelines, which we do on a case by case basis.

As for bans, we do have a policy that members can receive 2 warnings. If someone receives a third warning they will be permanently banned from the site.

I’m sorry that some request reviews that have been sent to the customer support team haven’t been responded to until today, our team doesn’t work over the weekends. However, as soon as a post is reported it is removed from the site, which generally stops any arguments and problems.

Thank you Natasha

Can you please confirm that ALL members that have had 2 warnings for either

excessive RRd s or posting content contravening the guidelines

Does this include the "removal" of inappropriate or offensive threads started by
members ...

i.e. When the OP contravenes the guidelines

Thank you

jax

jax Report 1 Jul 2013 15:16

I have had two warnings...neither warranted it....I have seen far worse and nothing what so ever happens....but if someone is targeting you...you don't stand a chance

Community Advisor Report 1 Jul 2013 15:21

Hi Renes,

Generally we don't give warnings to members if threads are removed. However, we treat everything on a case by case basis, so if we felt a warning was necessary, we would give one.

Natasha

Renes

Renes Report 1 Jul 2013 15:44

Thank you Natasha

So are you saying when members RRd an opening post, as being against the guidelines ..... The removal of which, by the systems parameters, removes the whole thread

The OP receives no warning, for the contravention of the guidelines ...

If this is what you are saying ... I can now see the logic of contravening the guidelines with an opening post ....

And then sitting back and watch the ensuing melee ......
