Very long shot...
Could someone with a sub please look at this census. ( Isle of Mull)
Trying to determine if this is the complete household or if is there a child missing from the Ancestry versions?

Parents and all children on these returns are accounted for, but another child name Duncan McGillivray/Mcgilvray ( b Mull circa 1852) turns up in NZ and names same parents?
Child is not any Ancestry returns an no birth can be found

It's the same on Findmypast although you can only see the transcribed records and not the original image.

This father and son are the only ones of that name I can see on Findmypast in 1861:-

The man in question was in already NZ by early 1880's where he married and died.

There are 3 Mull parishes: Kilninian & Kilmore in N; Torosay in centre; Kilfinichn-Kilvickon in SW.
