Long Lost Family - Is this in poor taste?

Long Lost Family is a great television programme, full of genuine emotion and real people. However, interspersed through each episode are promotional clips from GenesReunited with actors faking their emotions. Am I the only one who finds this really creepy? Surely placing this fakery next to the genuine article only serves to make the programme seem exploitative and cynical. How did GenesReunited come up with such a counterproductive concept?

Don't forget that the real people and the genuine emotion is directed and manipulated by a production team .....
