If you know when he died and his name is not too common you may find it here

http://www.deceasedonline.com/

You can see names date of burial and where for free. but would need to purchase credits to find out anything else like age at death

Do you know where and when he died?
Contact local cemeteries - they will have records of who is buried there, and in which grave.

Also local crematoriums.

I'm trying to locate where my grandfather was buried.

Would anyone have any pointers as to how I do this please?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
