	???? Births Jun 1907 (>99%) Williams May Merthyr T. 11a 847 Williams May Merthyr T. 11a 794 1911 census gives her age as 2yrs10 months, which should make her birth 1908, but no sign of it on FreeBMD. Maybe they were trying to cover up the fact that she was born before they married? On the other hand, maybe May was her middle name, in which case there are several other possible births, in 1908.

	Wonder if it is because Wales is the only one that says UPDATED for 1901 Looks as if Ancestry have done something strange as putting in just a christian name and place of birth also gets no results

	Thank you Glitter Baby. It was the same last night. I am trying to find a William John Williams who was born c1887 in Merthyr Tydfil. I have found him married to Annie and living with children May c1908 Merthyr and Griffith c1909 Merthyr on the 1911 census but need to work backwards now. Thankyou. Alyson xx

	Is there anyone else experiencing problems with the 1901 Wales census on Ancestry. I can put any name in the search box ( researching Williams) and no matches come back. Thankyou. Alyson. :-(
