There is a connection however. That Catherine Tilton was actually a relative of the bad boy William S, and also a 1st cousin, 3 times removed of my husband. Catherine's father was David Sanborn Tilton, a first cousin of William S. Her mother was Emeline Eamer.

Could somebody kindly tell me what it says under Ontario, Canada Births, 1869-1913 about George Washington Hinds born at Grey Ontario please?.His mother was Catherine Tilton. If it's the person I'm looking for he would have been born some time after 1884. My Catherine had been deserted by her husband William S Tilton so presumably would have been unable to remarry for a few years, hence my interest in a child with a different surname.
