Is there anyone researching this name please. I have just started to help my son in law to trace his German Ancestry.

All I have so far is what is below.
Frieda Minna Wilhelmina Rosenberg married a Mr Opper probably in Germany, his occupation might have been a Fireman. The next bit of information I have is that Frieda came to England in 1948 and married Arthur Robert Clayton in Norfolk Uk.
Frieda had two sisters Hannah and Hilda, I believe that they lived in Gottingen Germany.

Reggie many thanks for your information, you are right, it should have been Warnes not Clayton, I am so sorry about that. I will look in the search all trees, I suppose I will get used to doing the thread, but it might take a little time lol.

Just had this added info from son in law

Arthur Robert Warnes was born 8 Sept 1901 Died 1982
He was married to Ester Mundy before he married Frieda; they had at least one child Eileen

He married Frieda Minna Wilhelmina Warnes nee Rosenberg in 1948 in Fakenham Norfolk at the age of 47/8.

If he was 47 when he married Frieda that means I will have to search at least 20 years before that to find his marriage to Esther Mundy, would you agree with that?

as he was born in 1904 use a start date of 1924 and search using both names

am guessing Ester will be spelt Esther which is the usual way of spelling it . just use her surname on the look up
