I am trying to find a marriage in Witham Essex between Elizabeth Sparrow and Thomas Small on June 5th 1833. I am looking for the parents of both partners, or any other information to trace Thomas's line

Well if you find the marriage it wont give the fathers names I,m afraid as that didnt happen till official registration started in 1837

Ajax, many thanks but I have my Thomas Small or Smalls as born 1809.

Chris, yes I think this is my Thomas, thanks. It appears that the surname may have originally been Smalls, but changed to Small on his emigration to Canada
