I know she married Wilson who died in the first world world then married Harry poynton. But on her headstone she has two step children how can I find out about the

Thank you for getting back to me your help is appreciated.
All I know is margaret Turnbull lowes was born in Murton I think in 1888, she died in 1964 and I visited the grave last week.
My mum told me she married mr Wilson but he died I First World War,they had 5 children, the she married my grandad Harry poynton.
The names of the step children Joseph and Elizabeth are on the head stone but I know they were not Wilson or poynton how do I find out?

It's not accurate to say that Turnbull was 'added when her father died.................and it wouldn't be logical, in any case.

her BIRTH was registered with the name..............

Put freebmd in your favourites.............and use it to look for info

What is the precise wording on the headstone in connection with the 'step children'?

How do you know that they were not Poynton or Wilson? What proof do you have?
