The Webb/Lodge marriage looks to be Ivy F.

Thank you all for your replies. I was given some wrong info to put on here. Sorry. She was in fact Ivy F Lodge. mmn Hunter. I am trying to find out about Webb/Lodge and Trotman/Owens families who all live/lived in the Sunderland area. My grand daughter wants to know more about her dad's family as she knows a lot about mine. Even if I was able to find out what Thomas Webbs mothers maiden name was would be a step in the right direction. Thank you all for taking the time to do look ups for me.

rootgatherer Report 10 Jan 2014 21:02

Do you know when Thomas died please?

Could this be his death?

Name: Thomas Webb
Birth Date: 15 Feb 1913
Date of Registration: Jun 1977
Age at Death: 64
Registration District: Sunderland
Inferred County: Tyne and Wear
Volume: 2
Page: 1489

If you don't have the marriage certificate, that may be your first step - unless of course, you know his father's name and occupation.

Grandma6 Report 10 Jan 2014 21:43

Thank you for that info. I will need to find out if his daughter has the marriage certificate but somehow I don't think she will.

Reggie Report 11 Jan 2014 09:38

You could buy a copy........£9.25 from the GRO

Try researching using freebmd

And - for your own sake - make sure you are looking for the right names........

Is this the other side of the family?

Marriages Mar 1940 (>99%)
Owens Margaret G Trotman Durham N.E. 10a 2146
Trotman William A Owens Durham N.E. 10a 2146

You'll need a copy of the above to find out their ages and fathers' names.......unless the info is already known to you

Thank you for that info Reggie it is much appreciated.
