Elizabeth

Elizabeth Report 21 Apr 2006 11:56

Hi Ken, thanks for info it might give me a different track to follow next time I hit a dead end. My Carlisle did come from Notts, joined army and eventually settled in Hampshire, for some reason dropped the 's' in 1901 census as he still spelt it with 's' in 1881 census. Stephens was from Gloucestershire which is probably classed as SW England. Berry was born Cornwall but had naval connections so could have come from somewhere else like Lancs. originally. Ossie Liz
