Narrowed down highest occurences Barton Regis 513, Aston 397, Birmingham 321 as percentage of pop. Mere 1.4%, Tisbury 1.1%, Wilton 1%, Sth Molton 1%, Dursley 0.9%, Chapel-en-le-Firth 0.8%, not sure what to make of this other than predominently West of England Pool - Wolverhampton and W. Derby industrial gathering?

Cartwright-yes again all my Cartwrights from Dudley area Hemming-yes warwickshire Aston France-? but this is a newish name Newman- yes some of our newmans were in southern england for a few years ,but came from the North, the name was changed from Neumann after WW1 my grt grandfather was German.(hence the name change) that just leaves the unusual ones!! Hi Ken, You were spot on with my Yarhams and Dunthornes. Well done! My Kemps came from the same area as my Yarhams and Dunthornes (Walsingham and Docking). (NORFOLK) Ablitts came from Sutton, Waldringfield and Needham Market. (SUFFOLK) Wildings are also called Wilden and came from Needham Market (SUFFOLK) Thanks for this - much appreciated!
