Albert Harper, the only Harper with the correct ( or nearly correct ) initials is A Harper Grenadier Guards Paddington Jones E J. Madeline, Thank you for your time. As Dudley Blake Prior born 1893 is an uncommon name I was wondering if you would be able to inform me of the information that you have on him as regards to the areas of Peckham and Battersea. Regards Jan (Australia)

There are no Meagers listed at all, sorry Egleton, there is just one with the initials W C Egleton from Camberwell Percy Stevens, none Kings Rifles, sorry No Tacchi's at all, sorry Frederick L Hawkins, only one with F Hawkins from Peckham all the others have wrong initials. Just a note of interest my ancestors were Hawkins, some from Kensington but further back from Birmingham. William Tom Randall, there is a T J Randall from Paddington do you think this maybe the right one? John Fowler I think this might be yours J Fowler Private 7th London Regt He volenteered in 1914 & the following year was drafted to France where he was in action at Hill 60, Ypres, Viney Ridge & the Somme. He was buried by an explosion and sustained serious injurys & was invalided home. He was discharged in 1916 & holds the 1914-15 star and general and victory medals 7 Clayton St, Kennington SE London I thought this was your John Fowler as Kennington is right next to Camberwell. Regards Madeline
