Thanks Alter. I know her parents did divorce, but unsure when. Before 1984 for sure (when mother remarried). Her father died in 1998. I've tried writing and talking to her mother, but she doesn't seem to want to know. So, only hope is to find her really.... impossible probably. Why couldn't she be a man!? (much easier to track down men!) xx

Perren Michelle Anne (Baldwin) Hounslow 5c 1434 Ive seen this before, when parents have married in between the 2 dates, but surprised to see it in these decades. Unlees of course the father was a brother of the original father registered !!!Only the cert would show this!!

Thanks Alter Ego. I might buy it. I don't want to intrude too much though. Her father didn't have any brothers, he was an only child, so... completely confused why they re-registered her. I don't suppose there a Kevin Frederick PERREN in March 1971 too? Chloe

Alter Ego, Thanks for the offer... I don't know how much info you need, if possible could you look up the DEATH of Arthur Stokes in 1945 or 1949 - not 100% sure where he died but a possibility is Grimsby. He was born in August 1879 so his age at death would be approx. 66yrs in 1945 or 70yrs in 1949. Regards, Annette

Annette

Annette Report 5 Aug 2005 22:36

Thanks for looking Alter Ego, A relative thought Arthur had died between 1945 and 1950 and having done a search on Ancestry the only 2 years which came up with Arthur Stokes were 1945 and 1949. I haven't subscribed to Ancestry yet so I didn't get any other info. Anyway I can now rule out those 2 years! Thanks again Annette

hi if you have any credits left would you be so kind as to look up a birth of HARRIETT VINCENT ( or BENSON) born in 1867 in the Depwade area of Norfolk. She married George Knights in 1886 when she was 18. yet on the birth certificate of her son it says Harriett Knights, formerly Benson. I am thinking maybe she was adopted. Many thanks Angela
