Hi Jess, It's me again. - I told you I was expectng another certificate and therefore another problem and I HAVE GOT ONE !!! Mark Fenton c 1850 - I was convinced he had maried Jane Burrow but I now have the certificate and he married Margaret McLoughlin in 1871. - Jaanuary 2nd. His father - George Fenton and her father John McLoughlin. - both addresses at marriage - looks like Whinthill or Whenthill street, parish of St. Simon, Salford., Lancaster (Lancashire). - George was a joiner, John was a ?? Brick fitter? Brick setter? Witnesses George Fenton and Emma Fenton. I have Mark in 1881 married to JANE> - Also in 1891. I need to trace Mark with Margaret in 1871, and either of their parents in 1871 or 1881. I can't find any trace of any of them. Can you help please?? Regards, Dea. x

Hi Jess, Yes, George is his youngest brother, born in Dover, married to Lena Barker in Sheffield. I have those details. No Ralph that I know of, one hasn't shown up so far. I am now wondering if he was in a war of some kind. His father was a full time soldier, so maybe he followed in his footsteps for a while. Would the 1901 records show the army personnel in England? In 1911 on his death cert it states he was killed by an express train whilst working as a shunter on railway at Sheffield. His older brother worked on railways too. Margaret

Jess, 1891 census is not correct. Henry was born 1871 and Loftus 1878 definitely. I have bc's. 1881 census is more accurate. I think the ennumerator had been on the grape jiuce!! Margaret
