Hi Jess, Could you please confirm for me the occupants of 64 Bowker St., Harpurhey, Manchester in the 1891 census. The reference number is (I think) RG12/3246 Folio 31 page 56. I'm trying to confirm what relation these people are to each other. The head of the household is Alfred Ramsden and he is a painter and paper hanger. Thank-you for your help.

Ok, well, there are only about 14 Adelaide's born in london 1879, none are mis trancribeable as anything like Cave . So sorry, No i can't. find her (there was a small baby called Emily with mother Emily, that was all) ~Jess~

Hi Jess You replyed to my who are we looking for in Bermondsey message before I had time to finish it Birth of Henry John Mead Ilford Essex 1831 0r 1833 also 1851 census he did not marry till 1855 in Bermondsey but thanks for the 1871 census anyway

Hi Jess, Hope you're adjusting to the new glasses, I'm having trouble finding a marriage. AURTHUR (spelling is different I know but thats the way he used it apparantly) NASH - Diddlebury Shropshire born c1867 SELINA WILLIAMS - Ash Shropshire born c1867 They are my great-grandparents, I can find the family on 1901 census, (pge 16 folio 176) but cannot find their marriage. Jess, I have wedding Dec. 31st, 1921. - address at that time 39 Regie?? St., - Church The Parish Church, St. Mark's, Hulme, Manchester. - Her age 21 - Therefore she should be on 1901 census. ?? She is there with husband James Henry (Jas H on census), son Joseph (Rose J on census) and another son (william H on census) - surnames all now Hancock. I would like to find her on 1891 if possible. Dea- do you know anything else about her at all? there is one - but an engine driver possible dad - right initials- twin brothers? theoretically she should show, being born 1900, but may have been born after the census in 1901 ~jess~

Hi Jess Received a marriage cert today for Joseph Hancock to Margaret Chapman - December 31st, 1921. Have managed (I think) to find Joseph on 1901 Census (mistranscribed as Rose, would you believe?) I cannot find Margaret Chapman. - Can you help please? Address in 1921 is 39 Riga?? St. (probably Hulme, Manchester as that is where the Church was). - her father was James Henry Chapman - Carter. Margaret at marriage was 21, spinster, rubber worker. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Dea x

wow jess thats brilliant, no wonder I could'nt find them with their names spelt like that, if only auntie hilda had'nt died last week because I could have given her the news although she would have probably told me off like she did when I wrote and asked her the names of her brothers, she could'nt really remember because she was put in a childrens home when her dad died for a few years and never saw her brothers again. thanks very much and I promise not to lose them again lol. jenny x
