Er....maybe not! Thanks...fairly sure its him! Its a weird one all round this cos I have his marriage in 1881 Chelsea BUT on the 1891 census he's 50+ and she's in her 30's. Thought he may have been married before cos late 40's was odd for a 1st marriage back then BUT if he was an active soldier maybe that answers a few questions. I'll get his marriage cert and see whether that gives me any clues Thanks again babe Lou

Re: Harriet Mynott Hi Jess, i got the name Mynott from another person who had researched my dads side of the family tree. I had just assumed it was correct. I showed the family tree to my grandad (Harriet's grandson) a while back to see whether he thought it was correct and i think he assumed it was. To be honest though i dont think he knew what her maiden name was. How could i prove that Harriet Brown is the same person as Harriet Ager? I tried looking up the marriage on Freebmd but i couldnt find it. Thank you for your help - at least ive got that other Harriet ruled out lol.

The Bag Report 1 Apr 2005 19:11

Amy. Here is the maarriage ref for harriet MYNOT- usually there are four names on aa page 2 women and 2men and then it's a Guess/prove Game as to who was married to who - in this case there is only one name on the page, You could order the cert with this ref to see who she did marry, Name: Mynott, Harriet Record Type: Marriages Quarter: December Year: 1879 District: Linton County: Cambridgeshire Essex Volume: 3b Page: 1115

Thank you. I think i will have to in order to see who she married and whether Harriet Brown was the right person. Thank you so much for all the help you have given me and all the time you have spent trying to help me find Harriet's parents. I really appreciate it. Amy
