Mike its me again! As I have hit a blank with my Staniforth/Hincks lot, I have decided to move back to the awkward ones on the other side! I was wondering if you have the 1871? If yes, could you do a look up for a Sarah Jane Smart, born 1867, Hinckley. I have found her on the 1881, but she is 14, living with a 74 year old woman of the same surname, and a whole number of others! I have tried ancestry with no joy..... On the 1881 they are in Hinckley, so I am hoping that Ancestry has just not got them transcribed, not that they are as illusive as my others!! I would like to know her parents - I think its unlikely her mother was 60 when she was born, but hey, with my family, it seems nothing can surprise!! Many thanks, I really do owe you a favour. Sarah

Did more people live in Leicestershire than anywhere else or is it just that Mike is so generous in solving so many people's tree problems? In order to keep track of whether any of these threads might have more info for me, I note down how many posts they have from time to time. This one has twice as many as the next nearest! By the way, Mike... if you do spot any more info about the Bennett family in North Kilworth... my husband (and son who's visiting at the moment) do let me onto the computer occasionally to look... But you have already found some really useful info already, so I shouldn't be greedy. ;-) Christine
