hi, i've got an email from carol, just have to let her know district i want to transcribe, just one problem! what is snail mail? call me thick if you like,but i hav'nt heard of it before. chris.

Christine, The term 'snail mail' refers to the conventional postal service (which actually these days make snails look like olympic sprinters !) as opposed to e-mail etc. Simon

I've contacted Carol and she's sent my details to my area co-ordinator so soon I'll be joining the ever growing list of volunteers. Jo

Just joined up too !!! Had looked into it before but was given the impression you had to have a microfiche......... I also transcribe for BMD so am going to be very busy little bee for a while !!!!

Maz Have you got the phone no of your co-ordinator? Mine rang me back and talked me thru everything and it is clearer as you go on. Are we talking spreadsheets and c cens cos i thought it was all double dutch but you will soon get the hang if I can you can, give them a ringor mail them and ask them to ring you Regards Ann

It's great to see all the names for volunteers. It does look daunting at first but there is plenty of help if you get stuck. We can try and help each other too.
