Hi Lisa, No Frederick Wacey - perhaps it has been misspelt - whereabouts in the country was he born? Do you have a rough idea of where he should be in 1891 or any other names that could be with him? and I'll try again.

Lucy, You are an angel. That is the right family and you have shown me that there were more children than I originally thought. Many, many thanks. Allie.

Lucy, this is brilliant. Thank you so much. Cannot believe that Matthew is still alive aged 87! The William I need is the one living with wife Anne. If you can spare some more time I should be very grateful for more details. I don't suppose there is a Louisa or Thomas born Dagenham? Many, many thanks.

How do you find stuff for 1891 on Ancestry? I subscribed a couple of days ago have haven't managed to find that yet.

Emma

Emma Report 18 Sep 2003 21:13

Hi Linda, Did you subscribe to ancestry.com or ancestry.co.uk? I've subscribed to ancestry.co.uk and find it really difficult to get to the pages I want, they just don't want to load! The only way I can get through is to click "census records" under the "historical records" section on the main page, then click "uk census collection" under the "more records" "census" section on the right hand side of the next page. That takes you to the 1891 census search box. Hope this helps.

Hi Lucy, James Shaw was born in Stafford I think. In 1881 census it says Lattwood, Worcester. BUT there is no Lattwood, maybe Ladywood. In 1901 cesus it says Dudley Stafford. Is that any help? Thanks, Jo.
