The Cornish one is now
http://www.opc-cornwall.org/

The Wiltshire one does not display anything

The Essex one (given by Mick in the Sticks) may give you a fake Microsoft warning about locking your PC.

I have found this facility most useful when researching my ancestry from Kilkhampton in Cornwall. The OPC has been most helpful when I have had the odd query or two. (She actually lives in Canada!).

Devon, I know, is in the process of adopting the scheme, though, unfortunately for me, those towns and villages in which I have an interest have yet to come into the scheme. May that day come soon!

I should have said I knew it wasn't just you being an oddball. ;)

That all changed about 2 weeks before I came on board, I think, so thankfully I never had to cope with it!

Will do. It was posted in the days when that was the only way that one was allowed to post names of sites.

Back later to do it.

Joy, a request?

If you go back and edit your first post and

- remove all the parentheses within the links

- space out the material so it's in a list rather than one big long paragraph

it would be a whole lot easier for newbies to understand, and for any of us to skim at a glance!

I'll add my appreciation of a couple of the OPCs for Cornwall!
