Please could you see if the could find the following elusive ancestor on the 1851 census.

Emily or Amelia Griffiths.
Born at Madeley in Shropshire about 1841.
Father died sometime in the 1840's.
Mother Hannah/Ann married a Thomas Skitt about 1846.
Emily might be living under the name of Skitt.
Have been unable to find her on microfilms covering the Madeley area.

This does look like the right Emily Griffiths.
She has changed her first name again.
She was called Amelia on her marriage certificate.
The parents seam to be right, both in a second marriage.
Her place of birth is strange. I have never heard of a place called Madeley in Norfolk

I hope you don't mind me asking if you could help me too. I need help trying to find out any information about my G Grandmother Frances Holton. My Nan, Louise Holton, was born 15.12.1906 but there is no mention of a father on the certificate and I can't seem to find Frances on any census'. They lived in Durham, Stockton on Tees i believe. There may also be two half sisters of Louise called Mabel and Gwen. Many, many thanks if you find anything for me....
