I am Lynn from Australia. I am starting to research my Husbands family. We have a bit of information to start off. Edward Langridge was a convict sent to Australia in 1852. He was charged with burglary with assault in Maidstone in 1850. He was married to Susan and they had a daughter (we are not sure of her name, maybe April ?). Edward wrote to Susan from Gaol in Australia but never got any replies. He ended up marrying an Ann Ralph in Australia after he was released. Edward was born circa 1825. Edwards parents were apparently Joseph Langridge and Binni Pinner. Any help would be appreciated. |

Hi Lynne, If you google Edward Langbridge, there is alot about the Langridges, in fact on the Weald family site there is a massive Langridge tree.Have a look at all what comes up on google. Also googled Binni Pinner & there is info on Edwards family in Australia, which you might already know, on a message board on Rootsweb. He must be somewhere in England on 41/51 census, maybe you could ask the genious's of Genes to look for you. |
