sounds promising - she was born in June 1898. NZ is definitely to be investigated further because I know that Elizabeth already had rellies there (Flint) and William Henry was in Australia at the time she set sail from London (we use "William Henry" because my father, brother and husband are all Williams!!!) |

Jeanie - my mother told me one of her great uncles emigrated to Australia, their surname was Kemp. The family came from Devon, and my mother met her great uncle about l922 when he came home on a visit. |

sorry I haven't been in touch for ages. I discovered that the "William Henry" being "trailed" is the wrong one. It really knocked the stuffing out of me as I thought we were making such good progress. Anyway, now suspect that our WH left London mid-1910 as a passenger to either Oz or NZ to pave the way for Elizabeth and children to follow him when he'd established himself, and didn't realise she was pregnant. I'll keep you posted |

Is the info I gave you on Annie Elizabeth correct as her later marrying a Kemp seems to tie in somehow with Liz's information. Maybe the family passed through NZ and Annie was the one that stayed? |

Hi Persey, I've taken a rest from GR for the past few weeks so haven't checked out the info. Elizabeth and the children definitely went to NZ and we have details of all their deaths and where they're buried. When I can get my brain back in gear I'll collate all the info and let you know. |
