Hi I'm looking for descendants of Nimrod Gardner b1827 Bugbrooke
I have death certificate of his daughter Caroline 1893 in Birkenhead
and census for him with his wife Mary (b1830 scotland) and children from 1861 to 1901 .
Nimrod worked on the railways died in 1910 aged 83 in Greenfield st birkenhead
would like to know where the elder children were after 1871 .what were their jobs .
+if their offspring stayed in Birkenhead or returned to Northants.

a Gardner relative told me Nimrod junior married mary b1853 in 1870 and had 4 children but can't find any of the birth registrations or the marriage cert

It seems odd that Nimrod went from being a railway plate layer in 1861 back to labourer in 1877 sarah ann's marriage

poor little Fred James Gardner to lose his dad as a baby ; I hope Emily remarried .

It looks like Jane + Joseph Jones lived at home in 1901 so their 3 year old may just have been staying with his grandparents .

So that's some descendants to work on ...my mother will be pleased so many of them were still failrly local in 1901 when her mother was a baby In Birkenhead I'm trying to keep note of any street names that crop up + look them up on a 1909 street map i have
