Tamar Coates dissapears into thin air!

Tamar was born in Heworth, County Durham in 1857 to Edward and Mary Coates. In 1876 she married Henry Bradford in Newcastle Upon Tyne. On the 1881 census she is calling herself Coates again and is a lodger with her brother Robert in Tanfield, Durham with a 1 year old Mary J who I assume to be her daughter. Also lodging with the same family is Thomas Pletts born 1879 in Durham. Tamar and Thomas had a daughter Sarah Jane in 1882 and her birth certificate states her mother was Tamar Pletts late Bradford formerley Coates.
My problem is that I can't find a death for Henry or a remarriage for Tamar to Thomas. Also I can find no trace of any of them after 1881!
Thanks in advance to anyone that can shed any light on this.

Yep Mary and Astra - both of those are correct. Sarah Jane Pletts was my great grandmother. It's her parents I'm struggling with!

Tamar Coates - the confusion could be the spelling of her name Tamar/Tamer/Tamour/Jamore.

Her father Edward is a direct ancestor and we have the spelling as Jamore.

In 1871 they were living at 46 Stafford Row, Tanfield.

I will do a bit more searching for you and let you have any information that I come across.

Not sure Tamar is "calling herself" Coates again in 1881.
Probably an error by whoever filled in the form.
She has declared herself "M" (married).
