I wonder if there are any kind GR members in New Zealand who can look up our Mary Ann Bass nee Connor who disappeared from an unhappy marriage some time after the 1911 census in London. There is a female M Bass who sailed to Napier New Zealand in 1912. Could this be her - emigrating with her new man? Any help would be gratefully received. |

He was my uncle - Henry Frederick Bass born 1885 to parents Frederick Henry Bass and Catherine Lydia Bass nee Court. The marriage was in December 1907. The family seem to remember there was talk of her "falling for a policeman" (no name of course). Mary Ann Connor's parents were Margaret and Joseph. Hope this helps. Are you in New Zealand? |
