Would any one be kind enough to look up 1851 Census for Robert Tucker born 1841 in Clifton Somerset. His spouse was Mary Luton but wanted to know names of his parents and any brothers/sisters - 1851 could be a good place to start

Where did you get Clifton from? Can't see that anywhere. There are 4 possibles in 1851 so maybe getting his marriage cert would be a good idea.

Hi Ladies

I have Bob Tucker in my family tree (my great grand father). He was born 1871 in Winterborne. I purchased his birth certificate and he was registered in the District of Clifton. Bob's mother was registered as Mary Tucker formerly Luton. Bob's father's name is Robert Tucker, occupation listed is farmer.

One of the members on Genes Reunited has Robert Tucker and son Bob Tucker in her tree and has shared this with me. There looks to be some discrepancy but this is definately a match. She has Robert Tucker's birth year listed as 1841 (his father, in her tree as circa 1798, married 1836 to Louisa circa 1820). I have assumed that Robert Tucker 1871's birth was also registered in Clifton. Hope this helps

I don't understand this response at all. Firstly you gave the wrong birth county but have not acknowledged this. And you neglected to tell us that you already had his parents' names. Secondly the above person is obviously him. So what else do you want? A word of thanks might be in order too.

In 1871 they are living with the Lutons on Haydens Farm with daughter Sarah 2½ years. This is mistranscribed as 23 years.
