someone who knerw our family a long time ago mentioned that my na n wnifred went to lancs to have my dad but all his siblings were born in epping essex area we do not have any record of his birth 08/06/1938

Alan is your dad.
Then you say that your nan Winifred went to Lancs to have your dad 8.6.1938
