Hi, I have a Simeon Pepper burried with my g.g.g.grandad William James Humphreys1859-29/6/1937 died age 79 and my g.g.grandad Allen Humphreys 1890-30/5/1954 died age 64.
Allen Humphreys married Alice Rhead in 1913 Newscatle Staffordshire..I have recieved information about an Elizabeth Rhead marrying a Thomas Pepper Wigan 1899. I am thinking she could be the sister of Alices father John Rhead 1862 which would make her Alices aunty. Simeon would then be Alices cousin?? anybody give me any information on Elizabeth Rhead please?

hi Mary,my Simeon was born in 1863 and in 1871 he was living High Lane and his mother and father were Issac and Sarah? in 1881 he was boarding at cross Heath with a family called the Shentons?
I recieved information on a marriage of Elizabeth Rhead marrying a Thomas Pepper 1899. Im thinking she could be the sister of Alice Rheads father John Rhead 1862? This then would explain why Simeon is burried with them..

liverbird1 in the 1871 census the Rhead is spelt wrong (Read) there is an Elizabeth but i ahve worked out that her birth date was 1858 and my John Rheads birth bate is 1862. There age gap is not the same?
1881 cencus seems right but there is no Elizabeth is there? I have saved all the information you have given me..thank you!

1861 census has Elizabeth T Rhead 1854 dad Richard.

This Richard is John H Rheads dad.

Elizabeth T Rhead 1854 the T is taylor.

Richard Rhead born 1820 in Knutton married martha Whittington born 1827.

They had 6children William,Alfred, Alfred E, Allen, Clara E and Nellie. I know that in 1091 they lived at 45 Wilson st newcastle-Under-lyme and in 1911 they lived at 23 Enderly st Newcastle-Under-Lyme..any information on him??
