Hi, Lily Roberts (1901c) was my grandmother on my mothers side who lived in Watford after she married Louis Hoare. I know she had a sister called Ruth who was a bit older than her who lived in St Albans. But there were other siblings, one a brother who emigrated to Canada ages ago. They all originated from Birmingham area. I am trying to find out anything about her side of the family but have drawn a blank.

Where did you get 1901 from?

If this is the right family you may need to get lilys birth certificate to find out her mothers maiden name

1911 says they have been married 37 years which would be 1874 but they were having children in 1869 so I cannot pinpoint a marriage for them between those years

I can see why you posted that marriage ValT but one came from leicester the other from birmingham they lived in Hertfordshire cannot see why they would marry in Liverpool...but you never know
