help with marraige look up allen

hi could someone help me look up a marraige between alfred e allen born 1915 married queenie hampton born 1922 alfred born in east grinstead sussex i beleive and queenie in reigate surrey i think they married in west sussex near copthorne/crawley around 1950 i have looked ancestry but cant find it ?
any help would be great x thanks becci

Which years/qtrs have you looked at?

No point in anyone going over the same ones.............

i searched in the general search how do i search each quarter seperately ?

The full index is only available to subscribers.

I guess you have only looked at the transcribed freebmd extracts, which only go up to about 1925...........so of no use for your query.

Do you know if they had children? If so, when was the eldest one born?

they had a child john born 13/12 1955 in west sussex

Queenie Hampton married Alfred E Allen OND quarter1952 Surrey SE volume 5g Page 1187.

yey fpund search thro the fullmembership records didnt realise the free bmd didnt have them all ! thanks so much it was in 1952 now i have that do i cross referance with the hampton name ?
