I have traced my Allen's to Stamford and Castle Bytham and would like to know if anyone is connected to me. Christian names are Francis, or John. I have visited the church in Stamford where Francis was married to Mary Brewster from Clipsham, Lincs. I did not have time to visit Castle Bytham at the time and wondered if there are gravestones in the churchyard with any reference to the Allen family. I would like to get back further than 1839 so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
