Hi. Looking for any ALLENS or family or anyone who knew any of my family... These are faint memories I have of names I can remember. Can anyone help? EDITH MAY ALLEN, DOROTHY ALLEN, MOLLY ALLEN, BILL (WILLIAM) ALLEN - born circa 1900 - 1920 ROSS and WILCOX are connections. Edith (ead) Married Jack (John) Wilcox. Lived in Uxbridge Rd, Acton, W3. London. They had one daughter, Josephine Anne. DOB 1936 She married my father, John Bolton.(Greenford, Mddx) (DOB 1934) I am one of three children (Joanne) and I have two brothers(Mark and Paul) Dorothy was never married. Molly we believe may have been but no one knows about it too much. They lived in a house in The Avenue, Nr Gunnesbury Park. Bill was the only male and I believe there may have been 3 more sisters - the names escape my memory. Other names I remember is Queenie - Elizabeth (Bess) Who was their mother. Daphne also is a name that rings a bell - she attended my first wedding in 1984. There is a connection somewhere to the ROSS family but I am lost really... I do remember a David or Peter? - of the Ross family. (I used to back comb his hair - I remember he didn't like it much!) from my grandmothers flat in Acton, London. It may be a long shot but if anyone can shed any light, or know of any history to do with my family, please get in touch.
