Trying to find Allen

Hi everyone, I'm researching my husbands family tree and at the moment am stuck at 1800.I'm looking for info on an ELIZABETH ALLEN (or possibly ALLAN)who married Richard Hatt at St Michaels Church,Heckfield,Hampshire 1820.Because it's an early type marriage certificate, the fathers names aren't listed, and I have no info as to whether both Elizabeth and Richard were themselves born in the Heckfield area, or moved there prior to marrying. If anyone's come across this family in their own research and you have some info,I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thanks,Karen

Hi Karen

I know you're looking for details on Elizabeth Allen, but as she married a Hatt (part of my family) I can point you in the direction of the Hatt Society who are very helpful and may know about Elizabeth and Richard Hatt's marriage. Looking at your post it was in 2005, so I hope your still a member of GR and you get this message, or you already have the info you need. Contact: [email protected]

Kind regards Wendy

Hello Wendy, as you've noticed, Karen's post is years old so she may not be checking back.

You could click on her name to send a direct message which she'll be notified of if still an active member of GR.

Also, you need to edit your post to remove your email address as GR is not a secure site and it's against board usage policies. If Karen did see your message she would contact you by the GR message system so email addresses aren't needed.
