He was called William Leighton Allen who married my mother Isabella Willis some 70 years ago. He was the eldest son of six boys and one girl, names William, Jack, Harry, Peter, Jimmy, Tom and Dora. he and Jack moved to London and Harry to Portsmouth. I know my grandparents had a shop in Newcastle, and my grandmother whose name was Dora (formerly Foreman) was a midwife, and medium. I believe my grandfather was called Henry Leighton Allen and he was a shipyard labourer. Can you help?
