Hi, My name is Christopher Allen and I am the son of Norman John Allen who was born in Mortlake in 1917. He was the son of Joseph Albert Allen and Harriet Ann Allen nee' Swabey who were married in Eton Parish in 1892. Joe and Harriet had eight children and I am looking for the daughter of their son Bert, her name was Leslie (Lesley) Allen. I would like to talk with her to see if she can help me fill in gaps about about our Grand parents on the Allen side. I am particularly interested to learn more about Harriet Ann nee Swabey as I have been unable to obtain either a birth certificate or a death certificate. I recall she died in the Barnes / Roehampton area circa 1966. I have traced the Allen's back to circa 1707 and can offer information on the lineage. Would love to be contacted. |
