Member Since: July 2009 Posts: 3 Send Message	Can anyone help as my Mother was put into a RC orphanage in Crosby or Bootle Liverpool in about 1929 and I can not find out anything about orphanages of that time and I am at a loss were to look.

	There was an orphanage in Crosby called Nazareth House..run by Catholic nuns. It is now a home for retired people..I can't remember any orphanages in Bootle..and I lived there until 1961...Eileen
