I'm trying to find info about my gt uncle, Millar Anderson. He was born on a farm in Bothwell, Lanarkshire in 1877. My last record of him is the 1901 census showing him living in Glasgow and working as a spirit salesman. I believe he emigrated to Australia after that and bought a sheep farm. My mother used to tell me of an uncle who visited her mother in the 1920s who came from Australia. Millar's parents were Robert Millar Anderson and Margaret McKinlay. I have been unable to find any death record for him in Scotland, and therefore feel he must have died in Australia. Margaret Cran |
