I am interested in the history of the Anderson family of Poplar, East London. They were mostly stonemasons, including my great-grandfather, Charles Samuel (1862-1926). His elder brother, George James (1856-1935) founded the business known as G.J. Anderson and Sons operating from Lower North Street, Poplar. He became a Freeman of the City of London in 1909. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
