Trying to find Anderson

Hi, my name is Karen, and I have recently started to try to trace my Family Tree. Part of that tree has members of the Anderson family, one of whom is my Grandmother, Bathia Anderson, d/o/b 13/8/1908.. Unfortunatly, I do not have d/o/b's for my Grandmother's siblings, but their names are: Ina , Helen , Sidney , James , Margaret (maggie) William , and Alexander... Their mother was called Isabella , and was from Scotland, I believe it was Aberdeen, and I believe that all of the children were born in Aberdeen. I'm afraid I do not have the name of her husband, but I have reason to believe that her maiden name was Massey ( unsure if correct spelling) From what I have been told, and it was included on my Grandmother's certificates, it would seem that the name Davidson was being used as a middle name for the children..even the females..I'm unsure of wether Isabella herself would have had this, but I suspect she possibly would, as my thoughts are, that it had probably been handed down, from her parents...It would have been one way for the Family name to continue, particularly if there hadn't been any sons to carry the name on... Although I do not have the name of the man Isabella married, I do know that he was a fisherman, and it was for work reasons that when my Grandmother, Bathia was maybe between 6 - 9 yrs old, they all re-located over to England, settling in the fishing port of Grimsby, that at that particular time, was thriving, and one, if not the, busiest fishing port in the UK.. It was there that my Grandmother grew up, and went on to meet and marry a local man, Harold Onions (or O'nions as it became) , and they had 7 children, one of whom was my mother, Betty...now Meadows.... If anybody reading this knows anything that may be related in any way, no matter how small, I would love to hear from you..as without this information, I cannot go much further.. Thanking you in advance, Kindest Regards, Karen (nee Meadows )
