Isabel Grace Weaver Hi I'm trying to find some information on my mothers real father. His name was Alexander Matthew Anderson. He married Isabella Joiner Cosans in July of 1904. They had a daughter Geogina Myles Anderson in december of 1904 (my mother) I don't know a lot more other than Isabella took my mother to America in 1908, returning in 1912 when she and Alexander Matthew Anderson were divorced and Isabella was remarried to Robert Malcom, who I always knew as Granddad. I assume Alexander Matthew Anderson came from Arbroath as did Isabella and they were married in Arbroath. I have one photo of him (I think). I seem to recall hearing as a child that Alexander Matthew Anderson was a champion High Diver, but I can't be sure. Can anyone help? |
