Looking for info on George Henry Archer born in Bermondsey in 1859. He moved to Chelmsford in 1881 ish and Married Mary Ann Newton. I know George Henry's father's name was James but do not know his mothers name. I cannot trace any birth certificate and George Henry doesn't appear on census until 1881 when he is staying with his aunt Mary Archer(this aunt has Gt. Dunmow connections). There is a Henry George Archer in the 1871 census who was born in 1859 in Bermondsey, who's father was James and has Dunmow connections. So l'm wondering if this is him. Does any of this sound familiar. If so please help me out. Robert Archer |
