Member Since: October 2007 Posts: 5 Send Message	Trying to find Mary Jane Baker born abt 1858 in Liverpool ? /Ireland? She gave birth to Edward Baker in Oct 1888 in Liverpool Workhouse, Brownlow Hill. Records state that she was unmarried and had been addmited by her sister Catherine McCormick who was living at 2/14 Richmond Row, Liverpool. I have no more info on Mary after this, and the next info on Edward was his marriage to Maggie McLoughlin in Feb. 1908 at St Bridget's, L/pool any further info would be appreciated thanks Les

	Well she may not have stayed in the workhouse as many had infirmaries attached which local people used when they were ill. May be she was having a problem delivery. Have you checked out the sister for the 1891? Have you checked for a marriage ? Take it no father mentioned on the sons marriage cert - or was there?
